Taraba Govt declares three days holiday for LG polls – TV channels

The government of Taraba has declared Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as holidays for the upcoming municipal elections in the state.

Governor's press secretary, Hassan Mijinyawa, announced this in a statement on Monday.

He explained that the state's governor, Darius Ishaku, gave the approval to enable state officials to travel to their respective departments and vote during the polls.

Governor Ishaku also urged people in the state to be orderly, law-abiding and behave peacefully while fulfilling their corporate social responsibility.
