The security details of Ondo State Governor Agboola Ajayi have been restored.
This came barely a day after 7 p.m. directive from the Police Inspector, Mohammed Adamu.
Allen Sowore, media advisor for the vice president, confirmed the news Tuesday.
He said: "The security details have been restored. We have about eight of them now protecting the deputy administrator.
"At least the governor can now move around since those officers have been asked to return to their duty.
"He had been using the DSS since, but now it's good that the cops have resumed to protect him."
